Alison Pill
Pill began her career with her first film in Canada However, it was at least a decade later when she appeared for the first time on the American film market. Bruce Gray starred in an episode of Traders. Pill managed to get a spot on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation with Wallace Langham and Liz Vassey in "Would, Could, Shoulda" written and co-written by Naren Shankar. The episode also starred Michael Ensign and Michael G. Hagerty. In the immediate aftermath of her work in Picard, Pill appeared in a major supporting role in the well-loved science fiction miniseries Devs (served by digital VFX company Double Negative) produced by FX Productions for Hulu, and like she had in Picard as well, she appeared in each episode of that series while taking on a role that was very similar in the role of Scientist "Katie". There were many similarities between the two series did not stop at that point. Pill was made aware that the show's central plot centers around the preservation of consciousness in artificial creature, which is similar to the work Data did in Picard's season 1 finale "Et in Arcadia Ego Part 2."
