Kellie Martin, an American TV and film actress popular for her role in the roles of Christy Huddleston in the 'period drama''Christy Christy', Rebecca Thatcher in the Life Goes On, a family-oriented drama' and Lucy Knight in the medical drama "ER". Additionally, she's well-known for playing the lead role in her role in the Hailey Dean Mystery. Martin was born to a department store seller and a kindergarten teacher began her professional career in acting when she was seven, when her aunt, who was a nanny to Michael Landon's kids was able to help Martin to get her a character in the 1981's series "Father Murphy". When she graduated of Yale University she began to pursue acting with a seriousness, landing roles on both the small screen and big. Martin is also as a dancer and photographer. Martin is also a mother of two and the official spokesperson for Lupus. Since her 19-year-old sister's death Martin has been trying to spread awareness of the condition.
